| MetaBrain is Toshiba’s uniquely developed processing chip that acts as the brain of the TV. Meta Brain drives certain features on the TV such as Resolution+, AutoView as standard features as well as variations of Active Vision Picture Processing, and on select models Dolby Voume. |

Resolution+ from Toshiba displays standard definition images at new high definition quality, with improved edge detail and texture.
Resolution+ reviews adjacent areas of an images and correclates the information from the millions of of pixels within it. It then determines waveforms of a similar nature and combines pixel information to enhance edge detail and improve the perceived depth and texture within the final image.

Auto View not only takes into account the room lighting but also analyses the content being shown in real time. The ambient light sensor constantly adjusts the LCD’s back light depending on the lighting condition in the room to provide a better viewing experience. In light rooms backlight is increased in dark rooms backlight is dimmed. |

Dolby Volume is the audio solution that monitors and controls the volume of different channels and advertising commercials, to keep a constant sound when the content you watch constantly changes.
