Resolution+ is Toshiba’s unique upscaling technology which displays standard definition images at near high definition quality. Perfect for presentations, this technology lets clients and employees benefit from near high-definition images – also ideal for complex diagrams, images or videos This new technology inserts black sections in-between frames to produce a smoother, cldeaer picture, when viewing fast moving images, such as sports programmes. Allowing hotel guests to enjoy watching sport on the big screen in the bar, and students to engage fully in the programmes with their teachers present.
Autoview is unique technology from Toshiba, which automatically adjusts picture settings, depending not only on room lighting, but also on the content shown screen. This makes it ideal for use in reception areas, offices and meeting rooms, where light conditions change throughout the day, or dimly lit lecture theatres.
When changing between channels, inputs, or during advert breaks, volume can increase or decrease. Dolby Volume keeps the volume at one level, stopping visitosr or employees from being disturbed by inappropriate volume levels and ensuring hotel guests enjoy a more relaxing stay.
When changing inputs, the user expects the source source material to appear on screen immediately without delay. This is not always the case with HDMI, but InstaPort technology solves this problem, which is ideal when trying to retain the attention of a class of students or remain professional in front of clients.

Enables the configuration of Toshiba LCD BDs for hotels, business and public sector organisations with limited access to functionality by users and saves time on large LCD BD installations.

As the name suggests Hotel Mode is a feature of Toshiba LCD BDs specifically created to assist people within the hotel industry. Key functions of Hotel Mode include allowing hoteliers to restrict guest access to advanced panel control functions, including volume, channel and picture settings.

Hotel Mode also allows you to control the channel, or message guests are presented with when they first turn on their LCD BD, creating a consistent level of service for every guest.

In a reception, Hotel Mode provides useful features that allow control over what visitors see and hear when they arrive. By fixing the volume and channel of the LCD TB, Hotel Mode ensures visitors only see the content you want them to see and volume levels are controlled.

Within offices or meeting rooms, this control of volume and channel settings ensures other employees are not disturbed; and everyone viewing your TV is seeing and hearing content appropriately.

TVs within education can be used by many different teachers, lecturers and pupils on a daily basis, so it is not easy to know how loud the volume is going to be as you switch on the LCD BD. With Hotel Mode there is no need to worry, as you can restrict the channel and volume settings of your LCD BD, so every time you turn it on you know exactly what you’re getting.
